Pune BLog 3
from being plugged in to letting go š
Dear (wo)man,
Last week was the countdown for me in Pune, India. The routine that had been ingrained in me for eight weeks could now crumble and dissipate āit was getting warmer and drier by the day. Living in a place for two months creates a bond and towards the moment of farewell my steps felt like āzimlich schlepfendā. So, after āthe last lesson of this teacherā and āthe last time drinking chai thereā I quietly slipped out of the Iyengar institute and now I am walking wobbly here . . . and how does that feel now? I am content and happy and have a cold.
After the flood the soil is full of life, the sea back to its own depths and in the sand a new pattern.
The Pranayama lessons are changing!
From March they āll be an hour long. As usual, itās a hybrid class: in person at Yogaschool Amsterdam and online into your own place (youāll need a smartphone/laptop/computer, WIFI, 3 blankets, 2 blocks and a strap). New is that if you canāt make it one time, or you want to repeat the class, a recording will be available for two weeks, which makes it worthwhile to buy that special class card.
Begin Pranayama the Iyengar way after two years of Asana classes. It requires dedication and patience to practice weekly with the breath as a vehicle for your energy. The Pranayama class card runs from March to July and is for the entire series of lessons.
What else is in the pipeline?
This coming weekend I will be teaching the āin depth courseā in iyogautrecht.
On Sunday March 16th thereās a workshop to make up for being away for so long. Click here to register.
The next YogAtelier for teachers (leading up towards Level 2) in Antwerp is on Sunday April 13th. (link)
On Saturday April 19th I will be giving a Level 2 training for teachers, here in the Kanaalstraat. (link)
Hope to see you soon! Enjoy the last Pune impression below.
Fresh spring greetings!
Kristien
