Pune 3
Dear (wo)man,
Last week was the countdown for me in Pune, India. The routine that had been ingrained in me for eight weeks could now crumble and dissipate –it was getting warmer and drier by the day. Living in a place for two months creates a bond and towards the moment of farewell my steps felt like ‘zimlich schlepfend’. So, after ‘the last lesson of this teacher’ and ‘the last time drinking chai there’ I quietly slipped out of the Iyengar institute and now I am walking wobbly here . . . and how does that feel now? I am content and happy and have a cold.
After the flood the soil is full of life, the sea back to its own depths and in the sand a new pattern.
The Pranayama lessons are changing!
From March they ‘ll be an hour long. As usual, it’s a hybrid class: in person at Yogaschool Amsterdam and online into your own place (you’ll need a smartphone/laptop/computer, WIFI, 3 blankets, 2 blocks and a strap). New is that if you can’t make it one time, or you want to repeat the class, a recording will be available for two weeks, which makes it worthwhile to buy that special class card.
Begin Pranayama the Iyengar way after two years of Asana classes. It requires dedication and patience to practice weekly with the breath as a vehicle for your energy. The Pranayama class card runs from March to July and is for the entire series of lessons.
What else is in the pipeline?
This coming weekend I will be teaching the ‘in depth course’ in iyogautrecht.
On Sunday March 16th there’s a workshop to make up for being away for so long. Click here to register.
The next YogAtelier for teachers (leading up towards Level 2) in Antwerp is on Sunday April 13th. (link)
On Saturday April 19th I will be giving a Level 2 training for teachers, here in the Kanaalstraat. (link)
Hope to see you soon! Enjoy the last Pune impression below.
Fresh spring greetings!
Kristien

-And, writing a review about our school, the classes, the certified teachers, Iyengar yoga itself, what it gives you specifically in your life, is always welcome! Here is the link.
View the schedule from day to day? Then click here for the CLASS SCHEDULE page on our website. There you ‘ll find all the classes together. As soon as you click on a class to book, you will swoosh across the internet to the Momoyoga site where you can create and view your personal account and arrange your classes and many other useful things.
