Basic asana's are being taught and repeated so that you build a good base to proceed further. Also you learn to work with props which are so typical in Iyengar yoga. Are you suffering from a pain or even an injury? Here you learn how to adapt asana's for when you do the regular group classes. Not alone for hints how to proceed, there's also room for questions, so that everybody can learn from each other. And more so you could join the 19:30 class to immediately apply what you've learnt. (90 min.) In our yogaclass 'More with breath' you take your rest first and so restore your energy level. You learn how to work more soft and subtle in different asana’s and you'll build a bridge between the physical and silencing the mind. In these deepening classes you make the step from restorative asana's to Pranayama, the path of the life energy. Where the practice of Asana aligns the body, our breath (observing and cultivating it) can lead our energy towards a good direction. You can join if you have at least one year of regular Iyengar yoga experience. Do ask your teacher when you hesitate this class is suitable for you.

We will guide you in that process by sharing our own 20 year experience in yoga. Our experience comes directly and indirectly from the founder himself, the late Mr. BKS Iyengar. His first book Light on Yoga is still regarded worldwide as the bible of yoga. And for all forms, too, thanks to the exquisitely illustrated basic poses (asanas) demonstrated by the master himself.
