(120 min.) Kristien’s Professionals class is especially for Iyengar yogateachers. Here you deepen your practice as a student as well as a teacher. You will study the asana’s crisscrossing the Introductory and Intermediate Junior syllabi and you learn by Kristien but also by your colleagues. We basically practice the Intermediate Junior levels and Kristien wil ask you for example how you instruct x or y asana. Also you can ask questions out of your own teaching practice. This training is only for teachers and advanced students in Iyengar yoga (teachertraining) with at least 6 years of regular Iyengar yoga practice. Contact Kristien if you’re not sure you can join.

(120 min.) Kristien’s Professionals class is especially for Iyengar yogateachers. Here you deepen your practice as a student as well as a teacher. When you can't do a regular class because of health problems like chronic illness, fatigue, injury of the bones, muscles or nerves, complications in your pregnancy, consider to come to the Therapy class with Kristien. The focus of this class is to get you back to regular group classes, when ideally the problem is solved or when you got more knowledge about adaptations to work with your problem. It's a semi private class of 60 minutes, in a time span of two hours, where you and Kristien agree on beginning time. There's an intake of 30 minutes where you talk and work with Kristien. (90 min.) In this class ‘More with breath’; you first get to rest and refresh your energy. You learn how to build a bridge for yourself between physical practice to mental repose. During a class like this, you make a step from restorative asana’s to Pranayama, the practice of chanalizing life energy. Where Asana aligns the body, our breathing can open roads for our life force, Prana. You can follow this class if you followed weekly Iyengar yoga classes for one year at least. Please turn to your teacher for advice.

We will guide you in that process by sharing our own 20 year experience in yoga. Our experience comes directly and indirectly from the founder himself, the late Mr. BKS Iyengar. His first book Light on Yoga is still regarded worldwide as the bible of yoga. And for all forms, too, thanks to the exquisitely illustrated basic poses (asanas) demonstrated by the master himself.
